The Festival of the Arts is a success! It showcased the richness of the culture of Mountain Province. Everybody ended a winner!

We were treated to a variety of talents in singing, visual arts, and cultural presentations.

We have seen the grace and vigor in every cultural presentations as well as the stories behind them. We have heard the harmonious blend of voices in every choir. We were awed with the creativity in every visual art. We could see the pride in each participant and even the audience, the pride that, indeed we are Igorots!

The Festival was more than a competition to select who will represent the province in the regional competitions. It is more of coming together to celebrate, to celebrate the culture that we have.

The Sagada Postboy Editorial Board and Staff would like to congratulate the host, the municipality of Sagada, and the organizers of the event. The magnanimity of the event proves that an incomparable effort was exerted.

We congratulate the DepEd Mountain Province Division Office; Dr. Mary Lang-ayan, Division Superintendent , and Mr. Rosendo Cacap, MAPEH Supervisor. We also congratulate the Sagada School District; Mr. Milton Marrero, District Supervisor, faculty members and PTA of Sagada NHS, Sagada Central School, and Ambasing ES, headed by Mr. Joseph Caligtan, Mrs. Marilou Wadingan, and Mrs. Christina Semon, respectively.
