Choosing a club, especially a sports club was hard for me because I wanted to try something different. I chose volleyball. I decided to choose volleyball because I wanted to widen my existing knowledge about it which I could use in real volleyball games.

Volleyball is enjoyable and interesting. For this year’s volleyball team, our coach is Mr. Bernard Makellay. He is a good trainer.

According to him, “You’ll learn from me and I will also learn from you”. Our schedule is held three times a week - every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. After classes during training we learn so many things like spiking, ball control, and also how to work as a team. Cooperation is essential in every sport and it is definitely needed in volleyball.

I really don’t regret joining this club! The word regret has never come into my mind about this. I learned many things, not only techniques but also good characteristics such preparing really well and learning to cooperate. I hope to have lots fun in volleyball throughout the year. # by By Jonalyn Malicdan
